Our Story
Her daughter had just moved to a city four hundred miles away. First job, first apartment, first winter alone.
So Mom sent a package: a pillow printed with a photo of the whole family from last Spring Festival, everyone squeezed together on the couch. “Open it when you miss home,” the note said.
The first cold night, she unzipped it. The pillow unfolded into a blanket — and there they all were, wrapped around her shoulders like a hug she could actually feel. She slept better that night than she had in weeks.
It’s a pillow, and it’s a blanket. But mostly, it’s a way to say: I can’t be there tonight, so I’m sending the next best thing — all of us, keeping you warm.
