Our Story
He was terrible at mornings. She was worse. But every day, one of them made the coffee.
The mug had been a gag gift at first — plain black, boring. Until the first time she poured hot water into it and watched a photo of the two of them slowly bloom across its surface, like a memory waking up. She nearly dropped it.
From then on, making coffee became a tiny ritual. Wait for the kettle. Watch them appear. Smile before the first sip.
It’s such a small thing, a mug. But it turns a rushed, half-awake moment into a reminder of the person on the other side of the table. Some gifts sit on a shelf. This one sits in your hands, every single morning, saying “good morning” back.
